I have had my 500 for about 15 years
and have never had a single malfuntion
or misfire. Came with a pistol grip and
I added a heatshield, sidesaddle, pistol
grip pump and flashlight. Just saw new
parkerized 500 with heatshield and pistol grip for 299
at gun show. I like the 590 but hard to beat the
price of a 500. Picked up some rubber buckshot
which I think every shotgun owner should have.

OK... I'll bite, why would any civilian want 'rubber buckshot'?
