Mossberg 590/590A1 Question

Does anybody know if the forend grip is the same on the 590 and the 590A1? I'm looking for a grip with a rail for a light for the 590A1. Thanks

I found a site that has the best description of the 590 I've ever seen. Here it is..

Interesting read thank you.

As for

My guess would be the fact they already had them in inventory. If you know Pat Rogers, you know what he claims the Navy-Marines think of the Mossy.

I dont know Pat Rogers, and I dont know any sailors. I have met several Marines that spoke highly of the mossberg...

Anyway, with the exception of the trigger housing, the 590 and 590A1 are pretty much the same gun.

Yes sir, I have also and they loathed them.

Patrick A. Rogers is a former Marine and is contractor for them now. He "Spec 'ed" the ICQB DET-1 Kimber for them.
