Bipods?

Does anybody have a suggestion for a cheap bipod? I will be using it on a sling swivel stud mount, and it will get transferred from my marlin 60 to my LOS-7-1 and back quite a bit. I need something cheap but fairly reliable. I saw a bipod at wally world for $40, and it didn't look too bad..

I have the wally world bipod and it works very well for me. I mainly keep it on my Ruger 10/22 but I do switch it to my Winchester 243 and will be using it on my Savage 222 after I install a swivel stud on it. IMO the set up and ease of use are exceptional for a 40 dollar bipod. These bipods are adjustable the only thing is that unlike a Harris you only have one set ring in the legs and this is at it's full extended length. to adjust the bipod for uneven surfaces or a shorter height the wheel on the legs must be turned and it will hold the bipod at the height that you set it at.

I have a Harris 6-9" that I use with my Marlin Mod 60 and CZ 453 and a GG&G 1217 Tactical for my AR .223 & 9mm. I have found that they can be useful when in the field, but I'm much more accurate with a bag when benchshooting at a range. :)

Harris makes the best, at least that is what I have found. If you have a AR check out the new Monopods in the foregrip, pretty cool.

The Harris bipods are very nice. They are kinda pricey now though. I paid about $49 for each of mine, seems they go about $69 now.

with the cheap stuff
