From $500 and on up. depends on if its a collectible Carbine or a new production and what shape that is in. Figure on $700 to $800 for a nice condition non import original GI M1 Carbine and you should find one easily. 30 round GI mags are hard to find for this gun. Lots of fakes abound... and original GI ones run up to $50 for them when you can find them. Standard GI 15 rounders run $12 to $20 and sometimes can be found for less. Some as low as $4-$8 but harder to find deals on them lately.

Yea easily found. Just not a lot of variety in Ammo is all. Georgia Arms sells a nice box of lose stuff out of good brass for it.
I am convinced an original GI is a bit better than the replica that Auto Ordinance makes. This is a great shooter and great handling gun. It can and will become your favorite shooter of all your rifles. Is this the gun your talking about? If so then it is the M1 Carbine (this one shown with an original GI 30 round magazine) ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes... it does have a peep sight. But a later model one from the very original one is on there. One shown is one that was typical of the later rearsenal which was an adjustible peep sight.
