saw that in a clint eastwood movie named unforgiven. arguably the best western ever but i digress. here in PA you'd be legal but due to the litigation happy individuals that seem prevalent among criminals i wouldn't likely go that route(not that i haven't considered a V51P with the right paperswork and mods) it's too much hassel in the long run.

That is a SBS, not an AOW.

To move interstate, file an ATF form 5320.20. This will take 3-8 weeks for approval. You may be able to get it approved for up to one year (if you live near a state line, etc). ATF will verify that the SBS is allowed in the destination state before approving the transportation.

In Pennsylvania an SBS or SBR are considered "Firearms" under the Uniformed Firearms Acts, and thus are permitted to be carried with a "License to Carry Firearms".

The way PA law is written, they fall under that category where the statute pertains to the License.

I too have a 12" 870, but I'd like to see a picture with the 8" stock.
