Value of older 870 Wingmaster
My neighbor's father in law is selling off some of his old shotguns, and one of them is an older 870 Wingmaster with a 26" barrel and a Polychoke. 2 3/4" receiver, the wood is in fair shape. Some dings and dents on the furniture and the metal.
Basically, it's an older shotgun, it's been used, and it looks like it. I'm thinking it would make a decent starter trap gun or dove gun. What should I offer him? |

Gosh, they go for anywhere from 2-250 on up to 800... it just depends on condition gauge and market.

It's a 12ga receiver, non magnum. There's some wear to the blueing, some scratches and dings, but no rust. I guess that the best way to describe it is that it's mechanically sound, but shows honest wear.

I'd guess about 250 would be a fair deal for you.
