Winchester Magnum Rifled Slugs

Probably a dumb question here, but I do not know. Are these ok to use in my Mossberg 500 Persuader?

If the 500 barrel is a smooth bore, it's ok. If it's a rifled barrel, no.
If it's a rifled barrel, use sabot slugs.
