Had to think on this - like Bud a good few 9mm's went thru Storm - and a good many .223's got used too - even .308's were in there but, the winner once I thought on it was - AK fodder!!

Yep - for shere quantity that is the top scorer - cheap Wolf ammo and lotsa fun!

God bless those godless commies for making rifles that are so much fun to shoot.

.223, followed up by 7.62 x 54R, and I need to stock up on more ammo...

7.62 x 39 and got the bumpfire thing finally going. Thank God Wolf ammo is cheap.

Mine was 44 Magnum because I have a little 16" Winchester that I never could get sighted in right (wasn't me this time, my Rossi 44 Mag carbine shoots great), so I took it as a personal challenge and shot, adjusted, filed, shot, shot and shot that little rifle. Not sure what I'll do with it, but at least it hits where I point it.
Usually it's not a rifle at all for most cartridges used through a long gun, it's buckshot through a riot gun. I go through a lot of buckshot.

Not much opportunity to shoot long guns in the past year but I did manage to help my friend clear a few more snakes out of the creek in his back yard, guess .22LR is my answer.

One of these days I'm going to customize my 10/22 with a better stock and a heavy target barrel ... just for kicks.

I shoot .22LR metallic silhouette. SO many many rounds practicing, and in competition. Just finishing touches on a new rifle for this year. Itching to try it out soon. Have to refinish the stock and it will go back together.

ME LOVE SKS......ME LOVE SKS....

No seriously though, I've shot that thing so much this year and ever since the 4X32 mil dot was strapped on, even more rounds have found their way into the x ring.

...NO END IN SIGHT

Mr. Chitlin
Last year it was 40 S&W because I competed so much. Now that my daughter has taken an interest in shooting, I am rediscovering how much fun 22LR is. I am sure that will top the list for 2006 for me.
