Good Luck W/ Your Project Euclidean
If I might make one suggestion.
That would be to call Brownell's up on the phone & request their printed catalog. They have good stuff in there for the AR & you can look at the match & competition trigger groups & low mass hammers & optics mounts etc. Lots of useful tools in there also. It's a great catalog for the home gunsmith. |

That's why I'm planning this now. I want to know exactly what I am looking for before I go looking for it, if that makes any sense. I'll start checking there when funds pile up.
RE: the trigger, I've read much about the debate between single and double stage, and this that and the other. Someone says he uses a double stage for 3 gun, and then the next guy says single stage is more versatile, and then everyone starts arguing... For now I just want the plain old milspec trigger. I think you should learn to walk before you try to run and all that. It's not so hard to replace it, after all.

Euc, Apparently mtnbkr is correct in his above post and I was wrong. I contacted Bushmaster Firearms and the cust serv rep stated that you can build up a lower(pre or post ban) any way that you want to. The exception is ClassIII stuff and under 16" bbl. Otherwise "go for it". I stand corrected. -------

Well your concern is well founded. Laws are different everywhere. Texas has no provisions that will restrict me.
I understand that in PRK for instance only ARs with post ban uppers and single shot receivers are legal! ![]()

Yeah, people should still be concerned about all their state an/or local laws. Some of the more liberal states are,I'm sure, still trying to hang on to the more restrictive gun control laws. Some states are still mag crazy also. ------
