Why I don't like the Bushy?
The parts are made sturdy enough, but its the fit and finish that I find lacking.
It's not really that I think Bushmaster makes a poor product... but I just think other makers make better ones.

Bushmaster is arguably the most Pro 2A ,large scale firearms manufacturer in America today! Even if Colts rifles are a little nicer (which I doubt),I still would not buy one!

Here's what I don't like: Extractors not working period, multiple shots per one pull of the trigger, collapsable stocks that collapse when they're not supposed to, barrels not torqued down tightly enough, broken bolt, bolt carriers that are slightly bent/curved and improperly staked, read loose, bolt carrier keys.
All of the above experienced by me or close friends with non-Colt AR's that were bought new. The brands featured in these escapades are: EagleArms(Now Armalite), Bushmaster, Prof. Ord. Carbon-15(Now produced by Bushmaster) and Patriot Arms/Patriot Pistol(AR type).

That's why I buy Colt. Again not saying Colt is 100% perfect but 3 for 3 Colt's that worked fine and being 3 for 3 in owning non-Colt guns that had trouble and seing troubles of friends rifles well.........

Never had an issue with my BM M4gery. Never had an issue with my RRA Varmint mated with Superior Arms lower.
Each has it's purpose. :)

Double-edged
Never had a bit of trouble with any BM that I've ever owned nor have any of the guys I know. Where I'm from, BM is the standard. ALL of the SWAT guys use them, all of the competition shooters...

Other than on internet firearms boards, I've never even HEARD of a problem with a Bushmaster AR.
