Hope it all falls into place.
Great news, but I would still take lots of pics and make a 'paper trail'...OMO

Good news!
I got a phone call this morning.
The issue should be resolved "by end of day today".

Let me get settled, I will post details in a bit.

Good news.

I don't know if I would trust another M&P 15 though.

The Director of Marketing/Customer Services from S&W called me direct. He let me know exactly what was going on and who / where the ball was dropped. He apologized for the amount of time this has taken and lack of communication.

He is resolving the issue, "By End of Day".
As soon as everything is 100% I will post an update.

It seems to be happening alot with S&W, them dropping the ball. I wonder how many people besides the two here on defensive carry have had this issue and they "dropped the ball". Pretty sad if you ask me. Hopefully they do their best to make it right.

Honestly, If everything is as they say it is I will not hold any grudges. As long as the issue get resolved.

I agree. I really hope they replace yours. I'm just saying I'll never purchase another S&W product again (never have before, but this puts a bad taste in my mouth).

wow, I saw that happen to a glock when the guy was shooting reloaded ammo. Apparently the round had been double charged.

Something along the lines of "extreme over pressure from the ammo".
