Very nice, but don't let that 'shroud' thing get away from you...they can be extremely dangerous...

A. One of those things that goes up.

This has been a joke for a long time around here, and you will find reference to it in many threads.
This YouTube vid shows a typical anti-gun legislation 'author' who doesn't know what she is talking about, but she wants to take away your right to defend yourself.
Here she is called out by Tucker Carlson.

YouTube - What is a barrel shroud?

Oh My God!!

I couldnt stop laughing, glad to see that legislation made as far as the reporter asking her what a Barrel Shroud was. He apparently knew haha good call out, too bad that was the last common sense msnbc had before completely going all out mega bias for NOBama.

Ret you have 19K post wowsers. I will be sure not to forget this joke around here. Thanks you forum vet.

75 gr Hornady TAP is what I see alot of the guys on m4c using for HD... to save some cash some guys are using the 75 gr Prvi Partisan (sp)... It seems to have fairly good terminal ballistics...

I'd second Buckeye... A light (though you don't need a rail to use a light) and a good red dot (I'd go Aimpoint personally) are some good solid upgrades for a self defense rifle... I'd add a sling too if it were me.

Enjoy! I should be taking my new pony out to sight in tonight as well (pics after all the parts get here)...

Im gonna hold off a bit on changing the stock Iron Sights. The gun will never feel the same. I wanna put a few hundred rounds down range then I will go EO or Aimpoint or Trijicon ACOG.
