You don't see the 3 pics at the beginning of this thread?

Haven't used ghost ring sights, but they look useful... and cool!

Very nice piece of equipment.

That was the hardest part of the entire build. I had to learn a bit about brazing with silver solder.... I caught on pretty fast.

If you don't have the tools or know-how for brazing, you should leave it to your local gunsmith. I've heard most brazing jobs cost less than $50.

I did have to cold blue around the new front site and you cannot tell where the original blue and new blue meet.

Yes, I do not see them. Hence, the post.

gglass: I'm wondering, did you add the pics via this method: type the open-IMG tag, your URL address, then the closing-IMG tag? Or, did you use some other method?

Thank you. We actually pay a local welding shop to do ours, they only require that we center it and mark it for them so they don't get blamed if it's crooked.

Range Day Update:

I finally had a chance to take my newly modded Mossy 500A to the outdoor range. Along with my son and most of the firearms we own, I had a chance to zero in the Ghost Rings sights at 50-yards. It took around 7 to 10 rounds to finally get the elevation and windage set, but the end result was astounding. I was amazed that a smooth bore shotgun could consistently hit POA/POI bullseye shots at 50-yards (With rifled slugs). This is child's play with any rifled barrel, but I just didn't expect the smooth-bore to achieve this kind of consistent accuracy.

Great day, great fun!
