I used Duracoat in an aerosal can from Brownells, didn't need to bake it either. Just cleaned the shotgun with acetone first. Don't put it on too thick though, just use multiple coats, comes in black, od green.

-disassemble, degrease/oil with paint thinner, lightly sand with 600 or 800 grit.
-mask off parts you don't want painted.
-I used Krylon ultra flat spray paints
-Base coat in tan
-used a variety of grasses as a mask and put second coat of green
-Finer variety of grasses as a masl for top coat of black
-hand painted reeds with three colors of Testers (flat model paint)
-finish coat of flat acrylic seal.

Reassemble, shoot ducks.
Wow...Nice Don't drop it in the woods or you'll never find it again.

I've used DuraCoat on a couple of guns, but in all honesty, I prefer Krylon. Easy to touch up and/or remove to update with local foliage.

When I used it, I purchased DuraCoat through Lauer Weaponry.

Pastor that looks awesome! I did my mossy 500 a couple years back and I think it came out good, but yours is great. I may have to strip mine and see if I can get mine a little closer looking to yours. Great job!
