Kel-Tec SU 16 C Question
I like the SU 16 C's design, but I haven't had a chance to handle it. I was just wondering if the folding stock is sturdy enough to survive any sort of sustained melee combat.
Thanks, SDG

I've handled one at a gun show -- it's definitely not a combat ready or mil-spec anything sort of a gun. Neat little gun but you'd do more damage to the gun than the opponent if you used it as a club.

Wow. 'Neat idea, but I too can picture that tripod snapping off while I'm adjusting my weight.

I personally would look at the PLR-16 first. With the forearm attachment, and a one pint sling it looks to be a very formidable pistol....HEHE

I've actually heard good things. Its not an AK in durability, but it holds up well, and could be a great inexpensive "it hit the fan" rifle. The bipod forgrip though is really not functional, but its lighter then an AR, and has 2" groups at 100 yards. The stock does lock up tightly, and you can fold and unfold the stock with mag in the well.

The stock is solid, but will not withstand combat conditions. IMHO
