Bought a New Shotgun - Page 3

Sorry for the delay...I've been having so much fun with it that I never posted a pic! I love my EBG...functions A++ after a THOROUGH dismantle and lube, takes a beating, and dish's out an even bigger one. New Hogue overmolded stocks are comfortable as anything and do an excellent job at reducing the felt recoil. I did I before/after "blast" test and the results astounded me. Only other upgarde (if you can even call it that) is a simple Allen slide on shell saddle that I can tote an extra 5 rounds of Winchester Tactical Buckshot with. I'll most likely pick up a sling....but that's it for me....like to keep it simple.

Here's a pic of my Mossberg 500 20 g. 18.5" bbl:

Okay, that and my G19 and Firestorm 380. The Shotty has an ATI Tactical 6 position stock, deluxe heatshield with ghostring sights, composite forend, forward light clamp holding a Wally World cheapie bright light, and soon to be a soft shell carrier for the buttstock. I like the 20 ga for its lack of recoil (only shotty and the wife needs to be able to use it when I'm not here), low price and decent firepower. The only problem I have is getting the #3 buck (two extra pellets is better than slightly bigger pellets of #2, IMHO).

I bought a Mossberg 500 (new) about 25 or so years ago. I love this gun. You got yourself a great deal.........
