Beautiful gun there... I'm jealous! How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking...

$750

I think I got a pretty good deal.

Wow, I'm not an expert in AR's but I'd pick one up for $750!

Hey Mike take a look at the Burris fast fire red dot before spending twice that on an Eotec or even more on an Aimpoint. I like mine and I have it on my race gun so it's seen some abuse and has held up.

I like the quad rail too. I'm going to check that one out as well. A buddy of mine from work and I have been talking about joining the Desoto gun club since they have a nice outdoor range and reasonable prices. Do you belong to a club with a good outdoor rifle range?
Hey Mike,

Thanks, the sling is really heavy duty webbing and it is easily adjustable. The MI rail is one of the best for the price. I bought mine from Guns and Ammo on Summer Av, but you might find it for less from some of the web sellers, i.e. Bravocompany.com.

I do not belong to a range and like you looked at Desoto and MSSA. Desoto is definately cheaper. Maybe we can get together for a shoot before weather gets too uncomfortable.

Nice pair you have there. Now just add a .308 scoped bolt gun and you'll have all the bases covered.

I was going to ask, is that a Model 2? I want several more guns but for some reason an AR seems to be added to the list lately. I want another shotgun first and a pistol for my daughter is top priority. But those Stag AR's sur look nice.

Mine is a Model 1, with the carrying handle. It's a great rifle, so far I have not found a single thing I dislike. I may change the grip out to one that fits my hand a little better but that is a low priority.

First thing is to get a sling, then change the fore end to a quad rail. But it is stock right now.
