When I was in Iraq, I had some good success with a tube of graphite powder. The dust didn't stick to it and gum it up during the times that it went without cleaning. Normally the more Tri-Flow on my semi-autos the better though. The revolver gets very little of anything.

My carry gun is a 1911 and I have been uisng molly grease on the rails and Mobil 1 on everything else since 2002.

Break Free CLP never let me down. Of course it does have to be reapplied more often than grease.

I do use TW25b for certain spots within the trigger assembly.
