Touch up pens
I have some wear on my G23's slide release and barrel. I was wondering if there was a touch up pen I could use that would match the finish. Anuone have any experience with this?

I used one made by Birchwood to touch up my CZ82. It's adequate, but it comes off with solvent. That's good or bad depending on opinion.

Why are you worried about this?
Honest wear and tear is a sign of character.

In a way, I wish my Glocks showed a bit more wear than they do. Touch up pens are for car paint.

I use Van's Instant Gun Blue and a Q tip to do touch up work.

I used the Birchwood Casey Super Black from Midway and it works great. I got the shiny black and the matte black. Use whichever one matches the black on your gun.
Excellent value for the money, IMO. I usually just shoot, this is the first time I tried touching up the finish. If I can do it, anyone can. :-) |

Touch up a glock finish?
Maybe 50 feet of para cord+a truck+a dirt road. really though a little bit of finish wear is no big concern to me its lets people know those guns are loved.
