Hoppes Elite and M-pro7
does anyone know if these are the same products just in different packages? i was told they are exactly the same..anyone know for sure? Hoppes Elite is availabe at my local sporting goods store,M-pro7 is mail order.. thanks

They feel and act the same to me if that means anything, that is why I tried to figure this out some years ago. I seem to recall that both are labeled "Pantheon Chemical," but it has been so long now that I'm not certain of that. MPro7 was around (formulated by a Martin Niner, IIRC) for a long time before the Hoppes Elite, maybe the formula was sold. I purchase 32 ounce bottles MPro7 at a much cheaper by-the-ounce price than I can Hoppes (last I looked in Brownells). I ordered several bottles for co-workers and we split the shipping, made it a no-contest.
