A Word To Members Using AOL

If you use AOL as your ISP, you need to understand that the AOL browser (the browser contained within the AOL software) does not work with the forum software very well. You need to be using AOL, Firefox or other "stand-alone" browsers that at least attempt to be compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Once connected to the Internet, using the AOL software, you can minimize AOL and open Internet Explorer (or another browser) and use it to access the web, including this forum. In fact, I would highly recommend using something other than the AOL browser to access any Internet website. The AOL software tries to be the "end all" software for it's users, but has failed rather badly in the browser category.

Please do not contact me with questions specific problems with AOL. The little I know about AOL has been learned trying to resolve problems for our members.

You can download Microsoft Internet Explorer here or Mozilla Firefox here. There are other browsers available for both PCs and Macs if you do a little research.
