OK how about when people quote many parts of a message with their comments interspersed, so you end up with many small quote blocks from the same post.

There are two methods ........ use of the ''quote'' button each time needed and inserting the bit to comment on and writing beneath or .... snag whole thing and add quote tags along the way to suit.

If the latter - then at each pause close the quote .... {/quote} .... and then after your comment reopen .... {quote}. Etc .......

Curly braces used for demo purposes here.

As long as quote material always between opening and closing tags - you'll be fine.

Then you cut the quoted text with the brackets yourself.

Example: The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.

If you were to quote that it would look like this.

Quote:
The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.
If you wanted to break it up then put the [/quote] bracket after the first section, then a new [quote] before the next part you want to use. repeat until done.

Quote:
The quick brown
Quote:
fox jumped over the lazy dog.
You can do all this with highlight and the Quote icon above the text.
You can attribute names with [quote=Whoever] as before.

You can write between the separated quotes.
