Actually, if you are using Internet Explorer 7, there is a problem just announced by vBulletin. It reads:

If you click the picture insert button within Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) and vBulletin, with it's default settings Internet Explorer 7 pops up a yellow warning bar that says,

"This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows..."

You then have to click it to "temporarily allow scripted windows" and then once again click the picture insert icon for the pop-up to work (asking you for the URL).

You have to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME you make a new post or thread because it only allows this temporarily on a single page once you enable it. A change in security settings for a particular site can resolve the problem. This doesn't happen with IE6.

vBullletin has just released an upgrade to resolve this, and a few other problems. I will be installing the upgrade on the DefensiveCarry forum before we make the name change.

That may not be your problem as we are having several other nagging little problems that I am also hoping the upgrade resolves.....

It gave me one, too. That was off the vBulletin website, it didn't come out of my mouth....

no wonder i never had a problem honestly, i only use IE at work when we have to because of access controls. otherwise, i would never even know it existed.
