Question Photos in posts

A couple of times now I have posted a photo using a web link and it showed up fine until I edited the post to correct spelling or something.
After editing the photo disappears from the post but the link remains.

Repost the url with the [img] brackets. Should work fine.

I think we are still having a few problems with pic posting after the server move...I looked at the airplane pic link on your ultimate toy thread, and the IMG tags are correct, but the picture still won't show...

I just added a picture to the post I made previously in this thread.
You can post a picture in an edit.
I used the picture icon and added the url.

The url in this post doesn't have the [img] brackets.

I looked at it in the "edit" mode, and the img tags are there...there are a few strange things ongoing with the forum, and I know Bumper is looking to make corrections ASAP...

This does seem to occur at times ......... and hard to see why.

In theory at least if a valid url is enclosed with 'img' tags it should show. Just occasionally it seems a hot link can work once only or not at all - dependent maybe on the host server - and then it will show sometimes as just a web link..
