The Rally Point - DC MEMBERS REGISTER TO WIN!

Over the next several days, there will be a link added to the "Member Meeting Place" forum, The Rally Point, which is better positioned to provide regional and local information, for those of you that would like to meet other members to spend a day at the range, go to local gun shows, etc. The owner of that forum, Jamie Young, is a member here and, from what I have seen, runs a pretty tight ship over there, similar to our own, with no flames. It is a comfortable place to visit...

Hello everyone!

We've got plenty of room for modifying our website, so feel free to chime in if you have any questions about what we are doing.

I noticed several gatherings have occurred in the past few weeks in the Member Meeting area at DC.com, so please read this thread http://www.therallypoint.org/forum/i...p?topic=1352.0

And tell everyone to head over to www.therallypoint.org and I can start working on getting you guys under a membergroup name so you can plan for a next get together. Feel free to start a new thread for your region and get things started.

I have now linked The Rally Point to our "Member Meeting Place" forum so the link is immediately available to our members. If you haven't had the opportunity to check them out, please do so. The more people becoming a part of a site focused on connecting shooters to events, the better the experience becomes.

I spammed a whole bunch of threads so everyone that posted something about having a get together or roll call knew what was going on.

Well I had a little scare when I visited your site.

I was a little tired and was reading the News and I rubbed my eyes and then looked at it again. It was fading away and only thing I could think of was I was going BLIND!!! LOL...

It took a second to sink in.

I will be looking at your site some more and see if there is anyone in Arkansas that wants to go plinking.

Keep checking in on the Roll Call threads and eventually you'll be able to network and find instructors ect. that are more than willing to help out. We had a few new shooters this weekend and a local gunsmith and gun club asked us to hold a build in later September. Gunboards can be a great source for information and knowledge, but a small percentage are active in getting people off the computer and down to the range. That's how we gun owners can be productive and welcome people into the community.
