Smilies

When I try to open the MORE smilies with Internet Explorer the page goes batty once it fully loads, it works fine with Firefox.

Am I just stupid or do others have this issue?

Yeah, but I'm on a work computer, and they made me remove Firefox last time I loaded it. As soon as I get back to PA and get on the network I'm going to get a nastygram.

Yep...on my computer the smilie page gets to about 350 or so remaining to load and then the page starts going ballistic and stroboscopic.

John - IIRC this is an oddball deal.

Bumper could not previously find out why. Could be one particular image file (GIF almost for sure) screws up the browser somehow.

There are so many tho - the process of finding the miscreant has been too time consuming.

Ditto. I have to use the smilies visible or memorize smilies from posts. Havent been ambitious enough to make a list.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one...I haven't tried it since.

*yeah, it still gets all crazy and flickers and all kinds of weird things happen.*

I am grateful this forum works with webtv (Don't ask!)

I was always wondering where the sheep (great icon) and other animated smilies came from since there is not a hint of them at my home setup. I logged on at work where I sometimes read but don't post and tried the post feature and lo and behold! there were the all the great icons.

It is extraordinarily difficult to accomodate all the different types of browsers. Kudos to the administrators for doing a great job. [Hand clappng icon]
