Good work Terry and Blackeagle - interesting figures.

So I'm wondering what's up with Kansas? They've got twice the rate of DC members as the next highest state (Idaho)). Is it because they passed shall-issue CCW recently and there are a lot of Kansans looking for CCW info as a result?

Any data available on how many members have been banned?
I'm guessing it's a low percentage compared with other sites...

I'd say percentage is very low indeed ........ except there have been quite high volume bans for spammers - ya know, the cell phone dipsticks etc!!

Probably a way to check out the figures of course but for genuine members it certainly has been perhaps way lower than many boards.

I expect it is low, compared to other sites, but a frightening number due to spammers. Until recently we were getting several per day, registering via a bot. The moderators, especially Team American, have been diligent at catching them quickly and getting them off the site before they even get a chance to post in many cases. A recent script addition seems to be holding them at bay now.

Bans for seriously breaking the rules is very small in comparison, overall, and is not easily separated from the high number of spammers so I will pass on publishing the overall figures. It should also be mentioned that when someone gets pissed off and says that they are leaving and don't plan on returning to the forum, we enforce their own decision by classifying them as banned. We've had several of those....

Is there a way for members like me to do a search of specific members State groups? I'm still trying to spread the word about TheRallyPoint.org and a few new DC.com members are trying to kick things into gear with organizing shoots like this one http://www.therallypoint.org/forum/i...p?topic=1438.0

I thought I'd look up some AZ members that are active and PM them so they knew something was going on.

Can it be done?

Best way I know presently (until we get a googlemaps member locator) is to view who is online (forum index at base of screen) and click on members names, view their profile to see location.
Otherwise, PM Captain Crunch and see if he will give you the location specific lists.
