Defensive Carry Mechandise?

Anyone interested in owning a DC t.shirt or cap?

If approved it could be a good fundraiser for Bumper and the site, we could even dedicate a dollar on each item to a 2A cause or something similar. Could also start a few interesting conversations leading to new members...

I'm in, I don't typically wear 'gunny' stuff around town but do to the range and other friendly places. I'd prefer to wear something advertising this site than something advertising some 'product'.

Anyone else?

Anyone good at design, have manufacturing connections?

If we keep it all 'in the family' the profits are maximized.

Bumper did have some thoughts on this a while ago - and probably still may but due to his pressures at home and with the site work, it's probably been kept on back burner.

Let him respond to this with an update on his thinking. As the boss he will of course decide what we might do with it.

I think the "bullet and target DC" logo we have on the header would look GREAT embroidered as colored onto a black hat, with a fine white outline.

Have patience. Logo merchandise will be available, hopefully, mid-July. I was shooting for July 4th but things won't quite be ready by then.....

http://www.cafepress.com

You can easily create logo'd T-shirts, caps, etc.. there..reasonably priced too.

I hope its not too revealing. Defensive Carry.com might be OK for a hat, but it would seem a bit awkward to wear a T Shirt that said "Defensive Carry " in big letters on the front or back...escpecially when you're totin.

I don't see it being a problem as long as it's the logo, I wouldn't be opposed to having it written on a coffee cup or something.

Stickers are a must for range boxes.

And please everyone, can we not revisit the wearing a t-shirt with insert logo here at Walmart.

Excellent. I too don't usually advertise on clothing, but I'd be honored to wear something DC.COM. This is one classy place.

Have you guys ever seen those jackets that look normal but the back has a pull down panel that reveals "POLICE" or "FBI" or whatever. We could all get those that say "CCW" or "DEFENSIVECARRY.COM". So we don't shoot eachother at the mall. Either that or someone should make CCW badges...

Seriously though, count me in for a shirt and hat. Just personalize it "Cupcake" for me.
