I have gotten my hand slapped a couple times for jokes and afterward I understood your points, but they were still good jokes!

This is pretty much the only forum I really get involved with because of the rules and civil additude of it's members. Every once and a while someone would say something that really got my goat and later I'd see they were no longer around(banned?). And I would think to myself, the Mods are doing there job.

Thanks Bumper and all your Mods for a job well done.

Excellent Job!

Bumper - Thank You for your hard work and for the efforts of all who make this such an excellent site. The quality of the exchanges here are a testament to your efforts. I have learned a lot in my few short weeks as a member here. I recall that my first post on this site drew a response that included an unnecessary off-color comment (not directed at me) and the team quickly and courteously dealt with it. That response established my confidence in this site and kept me coming back.

Though you may not hear it often enough - we appreciate what you do.

JK

I also just want to say that I think the mods do an excellent job here. I also missed all the drama, but I am not sorry. I have seen it before.
Great job mods!!

Ron

Thanks, all, we really do appreciate the support. While we wish it was possible, not everyone will agree with us 100%, and that's okay. We try to enforce the rules and be fair to the members at the same time. If you disagree, the staff, including myself, have no problem with a member asking for further explanation and clarification, by shooting us a calm PM, but prefer that these discussions not be posted in open forum. I would also say that we understand that we're all human and sometimes post things that just don't come out quite right - most of the staff have been edited for breaking the rules, including myself. It's really no big deal to us, we pretty much take in stride.

Thanks again for being a part of this forum. We do have the best members, the occasional bad eggs notwithstanding....

edited to add: I very much appreciate the offers of searching for Savage to "extract justice" but we really shouldn't take the fight to other forums. It took us a while to clean up the mess here and I wouldn't want anyone else have to do the same; we don't allow that here and most other forums would rather it didn't happen in theirs.

I would like to add that if you encounter anyone making negative comments about DC.com on other forums, don't start or get into an argument about it. It has happened here before and we don't like it. I wouldn't go to another forum to argue with anyone about a forum.

Let them rant. Our forum and the way it is run isn't for everyone. If it was we wouldn't have account closures. Their rants may cause some people to check out our forum and maybe they will like it. Maybe they won't. That's just how it goes. However, please don't go to other forums and do things we wouldn't allow here and wouldn't want to see here.

I appreciate everyone's support of the forum.

I think the forum is topnotch with excellent information on weapons, scenarios, carry tips and techniques, and respectful discussions on the world about us. Kudos to those that want to keep it that way.
