Bumper: I do enjoy this forum, and would like to support it with what little pocket change I have, so if you would give out a mailing address, I will in-turn send you a check. I am not a computer wizard, so a check is easier for me.

To the rest of the staff THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO

Z

Never back down Bumper!

I am new here and it is nice to have a forum without the trash talk.
I hope that you will always stand your ground. I for one am apprecitative of you and your staff. Never back down, there is right and wrong, gray is for those who do not have the stones to stand strong.

Folks, it is this kind of response that keeps us going. There are times when you are just on the verge of throwing in the towel and you recall that there are people here depending on you. The expect you to keep this place the kind of place that they can send their wives, children, friends, sisters, and mothers to. So you take a deep breath and go back to work. Sometimes you wonder if anyone really appreciates what you are doing. Then something happens and suddenly everyone is expressing their appreciation for all the work to keep DC what it is. Then you say to yourself: "And you were worried no one noticed." Thanks for the support you give us and we will continue to try to keep this place one you can be proud of.

Thanks for posting the details--I saw his post on the other forum and was curious.

Free speech is not free from consequences. If we say something offensive we should be aware that we may be asked to leave. I've yet to see any abuse from the moderators or staff at this website, directed at me or any other member. If in your best judgement, he deserved a punting then I support your decision and thank you for keeping this forum from "going PDO".

Bumper and crew - thanks 1,000,000

I never have to worry about content when my wife grabs my seat at the computer when I get up to get a refill on the java - believe me - if I did - I would hear about it

As stated i have gotten my butt chewed more than once by more than one mod , I suspect i am the comment of some frustration , and humor in the mod teams section . Possibly the entire team should just make a macro that says " Bob , friends dont let friends post drunk ' since many transgressions happen when i have overconsumed adult beverages and feel the need for my illuminating wit to light the darker corners of whatever thread .

Again kudos to the team that puts up with all of us without visits to our homes ( especialy mine ) bearing lead pipes and baseball bats .
