Actually I've heard that among its breed, the Raven is far superior to the Jennings or Bryco offerings.

That's not saying much, but they do have a small cult following.

Personally if that's all I had to spend on a gun I'd scrimp and save for a used revolver or a Star pistol or a Makarov... but that's just me!

Special Silver Box Addition

THE BOX WILL LAST LONGER THAN THE PISTOL!

Here is THE RAVEN shown TAKEN APART.
Why BOTHER taking it apart?
JUST SHOOT IT & IT WILL COME APART ALL BY ITSELF.
NO DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED!

Hehehe - buy one - shoot one mag thru to see if it works.

If it does never shoot it again unless ''in extremis'' and hope then it still works! Oh and occasional lint clearance would be good provided not too harsh with the compressed air .

I used to not think I was a gun snob but it turns out I am. I took an inventory and the only cheapy I own is a Rossi and that's just a little .22 that works for my purposes very well, but I wouldn't trust it as a weapon at all. Everything else was a Smith and Wesson, Springfield, Ruger, and of course one recently acquired Colt.

I've figured out I too am a gun snob, just a penny pinching one.

Used Colt with nothing for $250? Sure!

Brand new High Point .45 ACP chambered pistol with laser sight and 3 extra magazines for $250? Pass!

Although if I had to buy such a gun the High Point seems to be leaps and bounds ahead of the others.

Still there is a place for such guns in the vast extremes of human existence as we saw in World War 2. The Liberator pistol was far worse than any of these pieces of junk and it was a godsend.
