Ya' see if we had a rating system, people wouldn't feel free to joke around, for fear of being zero bombed. I got a few good laughs out of this post, that's why I like it here, it's laid back but informative too. Besides, where else can you get a cupcake hug???

I just went back a read again this thread... it was pretty funny. I think I deserve a point or two for starting it.

Sorry SIXTO
The other members are absolutely correct. One of the largest contributors to PDO's demise was the rating system. I started at PDO in '03 and was a frequent member until the very end. Another pivotal, still negative, moment of PDO was to re-design the site. Big mistake.
I know how frustraiting it can be to see these posts that you refer to. The only advice I can give is to do your best at ignoring them or politely request to remain on topic with the original poster's question.

No need to be sorry, I agree with you and everyone else now. I just wasnt looking at it in that way, but I can see how you guys are right. I never spent much time over at PDO, so I was unaware of the problems.

I guess we will have those same issues I wish to correct with or with out a rating system, and DC works pretty darn well without it. So if it aint broke, why fix it?

Good question. So why'd you try to fix it.?

For doing that I would assign you 10 negative points.
You are now in the "minus" category and the Moderators have put you on the "increased moderation" list...along with "Gunkid" and some of the other skanks...

I think I've been on that list since I've joined up here. Maybe I should just moderate myself and save everyone some work.

Every forum has an arrogant clique that only gives reputation points to the those who agree with their views, thus nullifying the fairness factor of such a feature, so I'm against it.
