Inserting pictures in a post?

I notice I am asked for the URL of a picture to insert in a post.I am accustomed to a browse feature to retrieve pictures stored on my PC.Is there a trick to this on the forum? Thanks

use the go advanced instead of quick reply and there is a manage attachments that will allow you to upload from computer

Go to Photobucket, create a free account. Do your browse and upload there to your own photo "album". Once uploaded use their edit feature to resize the photo to "forum" sized. Then cut and paste the "IMG" line into your post.

yep you cant insert pics from your computer directly into post, only as attachment.
pretty easy to quick stick your pics online tho

I am looking for another picture hosting solution that will play nice with the forum software and not crap out losing all of our pictures. That has happened twice here and I have opted to have nothing instead of risking it again. I may have something in a month or so where members can, again, host pictures here instead of on another site.
