Does the tab tell the truth? eBay?

I'm not sure if this is a bug in my browser (Internet Explorer) or something that actually is going on with the forum...

I noticed that on the Explorer tab it says Defensive Carry but there is an eBay logo on the left side where sometimes there is an "E" for Explorer and where other sites often have their own logos.

Is Defensive Carry connected with eBay somehow, or is this some sort of bug in my browser where a leftover logo has remained where it shouldn't?

that little icon is called a favacon. It may be that the one ebay uses is titled the same as the one we use ( say favicon.ico ) and it just has not refreshed in the cache . Some day soon you may be on ebay and look up to see our favicon LOL .

Occasionally this happens to me too. It seems to fix itself so I don't worry too much about it.

Yeah, I'm using IE on Vista...

Long have I known that Windows is a rattletrap P.O.S., stuck together with twine and bubblegum and running about as smoothly as that sounds like it would.

When the tabs are working right, my NRA homepage tab shows an NRA logo, and others show other logos. Just now, my Defensive Carry tab showed an eBay logo (I guess it got thrown for a loop when I went to eBay's website! ) and so I closed and reopened the browser. Now ALL the tabs simply have the "E" logo in them (for Explorer). *sigh*

So yeah, I guess it's a bug, and Defensive Carry has not been sold to eBay!

Just for the official forum record DefensiveCarry is not in any way connected to or affiliated with Ebay.

PJ clean up ... in ie clear history , ect . and delete the cache , then close and re open ie . that should clear the saved files that ie goes to for a " faster load " and give ya back proper favicons for a bit lol .

Actually, all of these icons are named favicon.ico and when there is one in the main directory on the site, you should pick it up automatically. I expect that if they are "out of sync" it indicates that something may have burped when that particular reference was being fed into your browser cache. Dumping the cache file should remedy it.

I wish I did own eBay, I would be retired in style after I sold it....
