Do you want to make the font smaller on your PC or CrackBerry?

I have done some research on this and, in fact, found a site (mobi) that will plug the forum into a cell phone emulator to show what the forum would look like on different phones (four choices). We failed miserably on those phones, mostly because of the graphics.

From what I have found, the iPhone works well because they are compliant with current web standards rather than requiring a site be compliant with individual phone standards (not really standards, at all). It doesn't look like there is a way to design an alternate template that would comply with all mobile devices at this time. There is an unsupported forum addon that makes improvements, but from what I have read it doesn't do a very good job. Since it is completely unsupported, I would be hard pressed to install the mod.

vBulletin has seemed open to the idea of doing something in this area so I will probably wait for something official to be released from them rather than risk messing up the forum. Granted, I doubt we will see anything from them for quite a while.

No problem. Since threads in this particular area close pretty quickly, you may want to shoot me a PM reminder in a few months and I'll see if I can get an update from vBulletin announcements. I'm still gleaning some information about phones, other than iPhone, which support current web standards. If I can compile a list of makes/models I will post them....
