Question about Thread Subscriptions

If I subscribe to a thread, does the subscription end after the thread is closed, or after a certain amount of time? Or does the subscription last "forever"? Thanks!

If the thread is locked, it will still show as subscribed, obviously there will be no updates. As for time, I don't think they go away unless you unsubscribe.

Thanks for the quick reply. I like your quote... reminds me of Mark Twain, who said about a golf course, "It's a good walk, ruined."
