Unfortunately, we hear quite a lot from those that don't. It is my belief that we could not maintain civility without the ship being tight. Some absolutely disagree, accusing us of restricting free speech, being prudes, being intolerant, politically correct and just about everything else you can think of. It's all falling on deaf ears, though, we are what we are and don't plan on changing because I do believe most want a comfortable atmosphere, without flames name calling. Those that don't have plenty other forums to choose from.

We won't throw you over the side. We have a very special place for those that need it. I don't remember you ever being in that group.....

I like the "tight ship" too. I also like that there isn't any swearing or "pornish" type stuff that would possibly make a woman shy away from this board.

I appreciate all the information I have learned on here, as well as the encouragement and help to me as I am new with cc.

I appreciate the fact that I can walk away from my computer and not worry about what someone may see. Many times I'll have my granddaughter on my lap while browsing the forum.

Thanks!

bluedaisy and Holdcard, you have each expressed the prime reasons why we work so hard to maintain a clean, comfortable forum. We want ladies to come in and join in here. In order for that to happen this place has to be non-threatening. We also want men and women who are teaching their children and grandchildren or who are keeping them to feel comfortable here because they know that there will be no surprises that will affect little eyes and minds.

There are those who have a problem with that idea, not a lot but some, and to those we say: You have a choice - live with it or leave. We do not intend to change the way things are done here to appease any individual or group. We are who we are and since the owner is the one who sets the standard we will remain the way we are.

Thanks for the kind words.

This is my only forum. Who needs more? Couldn't ask for better moderators, better participants, and especially the big boss!

That's what I like about this place is no one is trying to start a fight or telling others they are wrong just to to see the reaction they can get.

Just people that want to sit down and have a nice chat with others all over and tell stories or jokes.

But sometimes the Mods can get a little,,,,,,,,,,,,,,huuuuuuuuuh, why did it get quiet in here,,, and why is everone looking at meeeeee? LOL. Just Joking, Everyone here is top notch in my book.
