I posted to the vBulletin support forum and the only suggestion they could recommend to me is to completely remove all modifications to the forum, revert all of our templates and, basically, re-install the forum. That seems to be their standard answer these days when something happens they cannot explain.

You're going to have to bear with me on this one for a bit, we have a major upgrade coming in a couple of weeks that will require me to do all of the above, but since the forum will need to be down for 4-5 hours when I do that, I probably will not do it for a couple of weeks. Hopefully the new version will correct your problem....

Not a problem. This is a very small hiccup. I appreciate everything you do. I have learned so much on this forum. Please keep up the great work.

A small hiccup, but still a pain and a curiosity. Hopefully, we'll get it fixed in the upgrade. I would, though, be interested if anyone else has experienced this problem. Let me know here, if you would.....

I only get that when I'm hacking into the server. Just kidding.

Seriously, though I have a different issue that shows up when the forum starts slowing down. Sometimes when I click on a section or a thread, it loads the page but most of the page is programming code, not the pretty forum we're used to.

When it happens, I just hit F5 to reload and it goes back to normal. Does anyone else get this problem?

Hopefully, you haven't gotten this since the upgrade. With four horses hitched to the team, we should have very few slowdowns except (possibly) when I am performing a maintenance action.....

Are the Virus scan settings too restrictive? In the browser, is there a yellow circle with an exclaimation point in the lower left hand corner? How about a bar across the top of the browser that indicates something is blocked?

It happened a few days ago, I'm not sure exactly when, but if it happens again I'll let you know.
