Clicking the More link under the Smilies - the window pops like normal, but when scrolling, the popup and the main forum browser window go nuts. Looks like some continous postpack issue?
First time this has happened. Left the site, cleared the cache, came back, tried another thread, same result. |

From what I remember, it's an Internet Explorer thing. A lot of people on the forum use Mozilla/Firefox.

Yep, it's a problem with the Smilies that makes a lot of members frown. It happens to me also.
Can anybody figure out exactly WHY it happens? |

Happens to me too, if I scroll down too far on the smiles it gets wacky.

It works for me with Firefox 3.0. With Internet Explorer it goes crazy.
I am pretty sure its an IE thing. ![]() Here is the link from the last time this was brought up...Smileys? ![]()

I've noticed that while watching the number of Smilies remaining to load...that it seems to happen at exactly the same time as the page is loading and the problem starts about when there are 400 or so left to load.

Actually, I have found no evidence that it is a problem with the smilies except in Internet Explorer. It happened to me regularly (every time) when I was using Internet Explorer. When I installed Firefox it has never happened again. I only found a couple of references on vBulletin support sites and they had also found it to be caused by IE....

It's so wierd. I actually have to shut down in order to get it to stop going bezerko.
Guess I had better jump on the firefox bandwagon....either that or memorize them all. ![]()
