How do you do the Debit card transaction?
I believe, but am not positive that if you have them process a credit card, you just enter the debit card and it will verify that it is a debit card, but it has been a long time since I have done that.

Yep, just go to the Forum Donations link, select your amount, and select pay using paypal. That will take you to paypal's site and allow you to enter a debit or credit card. No paypal account needed.

But - Once I did that, it wrecked my reputation if you can believe it:

There was no connection between that happening and PayPal. I used the reputation feature in vBulletin, which we did not use here, as a flag to display the contributor graphic. Sometimes it works automatically and sometimes (for whatever reason) it doesn't. It's potentially a problem only on an initial donation.

For those wondering what the "reputation feature" is, it's the basis of what caused the demise of packing.org - people get to "vote" on the popularity of threads, thereby increasing the OP's reputation in a forum....

I'll try not to let that hurt my very last feeling.
