Site Down? - Page 2

Yep, last night and this morning. It was down big time.
I'm sure Bumper will weigh in on it whenever he is able to do so.

I know that past times when the forum has gone down he has been awake all night trying to repair it.

Yep, couldn't get on DC last night, but I decided to be productive and make the best of it. I went down to the basement a reloaded a box of ammo.

Now I have 50 more 38spl hollowpoints to add to my collection.

Glad to see everything is back up and running today.

Seems to me like it was down for about twelve hours total. I'll call it the 20/20 crash since I couldn't get here after the show last night.

I'm showing 30 new members between now and yesterday. Hard to say how many more visitors there was. Maybe the 20/20 story put the fear in people!

I don't know. It sounded good when I saw those new members on the list.

I was literally trying to post when the forum went down. It all happened right after that simulated shooting on that 20/20 that was complete hogwash.

yeah, I was disappointed when I got off duty last night and couldn't peruse the pages
....so I had to cheer myself up by playing Call of Duty before going to bed

I also had trouble and thought that ABC has just shut them down because of the negative response to their program or maybe because they were observing a moment of silence in memory of Diane Sawyer because I heard that she drowned in her BS after the program last night :)

Sorry about the outage, everyone. The host got us back up and running and is looking into what was causing it. It appeared to be a denial of service attack but we'll wait for Mark to find out for sure. More later....

Well, the outage did give me time to file my taxes without 1,000 interruptions to read and post.

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a procrastinator. Actually, I consider delayed filing when owing money to be an interest-free loan from the gov't. Yeh, that's my story. And it's my form of silent protest.
