Don't worry about them, they get paid pretty well...

The Mods here do exactly what I like to see Mods do on a forum. They keep order, are fair and don't "over moderate". Threads are moved and/or merged quickly and the few warnings that are issued are helpful in keeping things on topic.

Thanks Guys!

Thanks, we try to stay on top of things and be fair without over moderating, although some think we do. We really do have a great team of moderators....

I'm the owner/senior moderator of a group with around 3,000 members of a "non-gun" subject group. Yes, I do have a life after I post on this forum. Being a owner/moderator of a group has it's share of headaches & problems. Been there, done it!

My hats off to the job the mod's do of this forum.

I've been a moderator. Will likely do it again, at some point. It's not easy. The fine line between cleaning house and keeping free discussion rolling within the confines of the purpose of the house is a real challenge, without alienating everyone.

The staff at DC do that fairly well.

Kudos, gang! Kudos.

BTW: Whatever was changed such that the huge stall/freeze from 3-3:30am no longer occurs ... that was a good thing. Nice to know that DC has control of the 'puter gods, too. (Or, at least the chipmunks runnin' on their little wheels.) Of course, most folks aren't going to notice a thing, at 3am. But, on behalf of those night owls in the crowd, thanks for the tuning!

We have moderators? Who knew?

Seriously, I think all y'all do a great job.
Makes DC the experience it should be.
Thanks.
