Actually..Firefox IS the way to go. IE has always sucked, and still does as far as I'm concerned.

This has been an IE issue for ages. I don't think the RAM will solve the problem. I have plenty, and still have the IE issue. Other browsers don't seem to have this problem.

I have 3 GB of RAM in my work laptop.

I suppose I could circumvent the corporate browser. Just not sure how much trouble, if any, I would get into.

Okay, just downloaded Firefox. I still have to keep IE for some corporate websites that need it.

So, I expanded the smilies window and voila, it worked.

My laptop has only 1 gig of RAM and I have three different browsers installed--IE, Firefox, and Opera. IE is the only browser that causes problems when the Smilies [more] option is selected.
