Use of abbreviations

I have been here for a while but I still can't seem to figure out all the regular term abbreviations. I am a fairly perceptive individual but abbreviations can have so many meanings other than what was intended. Is there a formal list of standard abbreviated terms?

INAL: I'm not a lawyer?
IMO: In my opinion?
IMHO: In my humble opinion?

I know this might be petty and trivial for the veterans but for the newbies.....it might help clarify some issues / questions.

David linked our attempt to help new members figure some of these out. I have to admit, though, that every once in awhile throw me for a loop. I usually plug those into Google and see what it kicks out....

IIRC, FWIW, and keep in mind that IANAL, but things can get confusing when discussing the best EDC for OC or CC in one's SOB holster while CCW and, of course, using JHP instead of FMJ ammo.

Stay armed...KYPD...GD&R...stay safe!
