Great On the Eyes!

I think Bumper has come up with a very pleasant background color that is pleasing to the eyes.
The new user info and forum stats are a nice touch, too.

Looks great! Now I need a wider monitor. The main page now runs way off to the right and gives me a scroll bar

Thanks, I'm still playing around with the design, I just thought it was time for a little change. Sort of like getting new carpet.

The colors will continue to change over the next few days until we settle on something that is attractive to a first time visitor and easy on the eyes when reading threads. I'm going to do a redesign of the forum header graphic, as well so if you see our graphic changing up there don't be surprised. You can let me know if there's something you really do or don't like.

The new left column is something I needed to do to add the "pay per click" links on the side which will, hopefully, help our financial position. Every time you take one of those links it helps us out. I will also be adding an affiliate link for our members to renew, upgrade or join for the first time. While some people don't like every stand the NRA takes, they have done more for our cause than anyone else and deserve our support. Eventually, other things will pop up over there, but that's it for now.

Looks real good Bumper! I really like the blue back ground.

Only one minor complaint though, as someone else said, now the page runs way off to the right on my monitor and I actually have a wide aspect ratio monitor. I am using Firefox so maybe that has something to do with it?

I just noticed that it's only the main page with the different sub forums listed. When I go to a sub forum, like the Open Carry sub forum or the concealed carry sub forum or off topic sub forum, the page is fine, and if I am actually in a thread, it's fine. The page only runs off to the right where the new stuff down the left side is displayed.

What resolution are you using? I am running 1680x1050 on a wide aspect flat monitor and I can narrow the browser (Firefox) down to half the width of the screen without causing a horizontal scroll situation....
