Missing post

I was searching for a post I made a while back. My user cp statistics say I have 13 posts, but only list 11. Deleted thread?

Posts made in the Off Topic/Humor section don't count toward post counts, so that may be one of them.

You also have two posts in a thread that was removed, that may be it as well seeing as how I don't see any posts of yours in OT/H.

Thanks.

Any chance you could PM me the text of my posts in the removed thread?

Do the mods delete post because a user doesn't like what someone said, or do they have a choice to leave it?

We don't delete things because "a user doesn't like what someone said". We remove posts when they violate the forum rules. Moderators have a certain amount of discretion, and we talk about borderline posts in the staff forum and usually come to a consensus on how to handle it.

Read the site rules.

You'll find your answer

Most posts we remove, as others have said, are for rules violations, mostly "off topic" posts, language violations or lately, political posts. As Varob says, the answer is usually found by reading the rules. We never remove posts simply because we don't agree with the poster's opinion....
