Hunting/Sportsman section

I know it's not really a "defensive" topic but I'm sure most of us here would love to talk about our hunting trips and share pointers. Would a hunting section be out of the cards, or do you think it's a good idea?

My personal feelings? I like the idea. Why? Because I like pictures. A dedicated forum would do well for those who might be offended by pics of the kill in general forums. I'm just saying..........keeping the the game/kill topic specific might be for the benefit of all.

That's true...to an extent. I'm on another forum where they do have a hunting specific forum, and it's rather common to see pics of exploded squirrel heads from a 22lr.

How 'bout self-defense while hunting? You know, like carrying a 4" .500 for them bears, maybe a Kel-Tec 2000 .40 S&W for them menacing jack-rabbits...?

While I know that a lot of our members hunt, I'm afraid that it would detract from our focus of carrying a defensive weapons....

Agreed, but we could list it as defending ourselves from hunger!
