"nug"

It was named that when I first got it because my wife did not want to say "gun" around our 4 year old daughter. The daughter now knows about the gun, but for some reason we still refer to it as the "nug". This works out good as some of her apartment leasing customers are real skank of the earth, and when we go to these properties to show them, either my wife or daughter will say to me upon seeing a skanky prospective customer, "got the nug Dad?" I just smile. She hated it at first, now she asks if I have it.

Not a namer, other than my euphemism for carry piece - which is ''my friend''!

No, never have and never really thought about it.

When it comes to naming things (kids, dogs, cats, etcc) I've never had the knack for it.

ie. My cat is named Georgia. I got her in Georgia (humane society rescue). My dog I had for the longest time was named Oscar. I was watching the 6 million dollar man at the time. My dog after he died was named Lady, after Lady and the Tramp. Luckily, no one has asked me to name any kids .

Man, I'm so uncreative

All mine are named. I'll tell my wife, I'll be back, I'm taking my mistress to the range to make noise.

Yep Sandy is my Springfield 1911, Sally is my Colt Gold cup, Polly is my XD, The rest I don't name because I use the euphamisms usually with my pastor when we are in public or in church not to freak out the

That's funny because I do the same thing. No particular names, but if I ever need to reference it in public to someone in the know, I always call it "my friend".

Not really a namer, Ive got too much other info to try and keep right. I do refer to my carry piece as mi amigo when discussing with other CCW friends.
