Not really any specific names, but what ever I have with me is referred to as "Plan B".

I never have, but not because I haven't wanted to. I've just never found a good match between name and weapon.

I expect to sooner or later, though.

I don't name anything, but my wife nicknames everything. My friend Randy down in Louisiana has been "Big R" for about 18 years now. The cars have nicknames. The dogs get nicknames after we name them. That got so bad I have a database of dogs names and nicknames. But so far she has not nicknamed a gun. I had not realize how odd that was until now. Well she's only been carrying for about 3 or 4 months now, I'm sure she will have nicknames for her's pretty soon.

I don't know, Once I start thinking of my pistol, shot gun , rifle, or even knife as my friend I need to stop carrying because I have lost respect for them. Now, I may get some flak about this, but it's just me. They are tools, just tools that I must respect.

I understand that, but it's not like I talk to my tools, and it's more a euphamism to keep the sheep from going more ballistic than Hezbollah
