Cleaned me out....

....on carry pistols. I had my xd40sc up for sale in the paper (want an xd45) and a guy came around to look at it. He pretty much had his mind made up he was going to buy it anyway, but when he saw my Taurus pt-145 he talked me into selling it also so he bought both. He said he wanted the xd for his backup and he liked the taurus for his wife (who was with him). He wanted holster and all.

The bright side is he paid me more than they cost me (what I asked for the xd and I did not want to part with the taurus so he made me an offer I couldn't refuse) so now I'm waiting for ANOTHER new pt-145 (yes I like it that much and hopefullyit's at my ffl tomorrow or friday) and am picking up a new xd45 service. So I've been naked for a few days, even walk with a lean.

Nothing like a fresh start with fresh cash!!

Are you going to make any changes, or replace with equivalents?

Good deal, I'd put good holsters on order in advance though.

Nice deal!!

Now rebuild your surplus, and start again

Unless a firearm has senimental value. I would sell any of mine for more than I payed!

Yep, already got the holster as I like a particuar iwb and it works with both. Came in today (quick shipping). I also had to order another hoague grip that I had on the taurus as he wanted everything with it.

I like the taurus pt-145 so much for regular carry that I've already ordered another. I wanted an xd45 and I'm going ahead with that one. I should have enough to start saving for a 1911 to add to the stable (will probably take a little while) and that will probably my only deviation from my original plan. If and when Springfield comes out with an XD45sc I want to have the grip chopped to fit those mags so I will have a 4" sc.

Yes, I did come out smelling of roses on this one and was really suprised. He started counting out cash though and kept upping his offer for everything so I agree with you gregarat, I will sell for more than I payed. I expected that with the xd as I ordered it in and the local stores are having a hard time getting them. The ones that do sell them at a premium so I figured I could sell it for more than I paid. The taurus spuprised me though, I wasn't expecting that. The guy had a bunch of cash though and just kept peeling benjamin's off.

Guess I do need a V8.

@randytulsa2 We like tulsa a lot and visit there regularly. We like the smaller place we live in, but tulsa is close enough to visit and the wife and I both like it.
